The French Library Alliance Française of Boston (FAB) is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to Executive Director
- Organize and attend board and staff meetings, as well as executive events
- General office administrative tasks
- Provide support to the Director of Operations as requested by the Executive Director
Qualifications and skills:
- Fluent in both English and French; bilingual speaker with experience in American-style workplace strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position preferred
- Dynamic approach to problem-solving
- Flexible, able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- MUST have valid US employment authorization

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meeting and greeting all members and guests
- Answering the phone and handling visitors questions
- Taking reservations for our events and registrations for classes
Qualifications and skills:
- Fluent in both English and French
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manners.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with database systems and willingness to learn our customized registration software
- MUST have valid US employment authorization
