I have completed a Master's degree in Limoges in Semiotics, Linguistics and Anthropology. I really enjoy sharing my "joie de vivre" with children and adults willing to learn French! Bonjour! My name is Helene. I am French and I come from Paris, where I worked in Human Resources as a recruiter for an insurance company. I came to Boston with my husband who works at Harvard, and our son, in August of 2006. I teach French to children and adults at the French Library and I really enjoy it. I love traveling and discovering new countries and new cultures, listening to a variety of music such as reggae, funk and songs by French artists, and reading American novels (translated in French!).

Bonjour! My name is Nune. I was born in Armenia, in the city of Yerevan. I live in USA since 2005. In Armenia I have got my master's degree in Linguistics and have been specialized as teacher of French. Before I came to the USA I have worked for the French Library and Cultural Center in Armenia, now I joined the staff of French Library and Cultural Center in Boston. So the French is everywhere and I'm happy to share my inexhaustible passion and love towards that language with all my students.

I’ve studied here and there, many different subjects before choosing Geography. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Natural & Industrial Hazards then a Master’s degree in "Occupational Health, Safety & Environment" see: I care about your well-being. I arrived in Boston in October 2004 (the day of the Red Sox’s victory) with my husband who works at MIT. I’m also working as a part-time receptionist here at the French Library and I lead guided tours of Boston in French. I really hope to share great "french" moments with you! Let’s enjoy!

BonjourBonjour! My name is Delphine. I arrived in Boston in July 2006 with my husband who works at the MGH (Mass general hospital) in Research. I come from Paris where I grew up. In France I have been working as a nurse since 2001. I'm working at the French Library since November 2007 as a teacher for private and group lessons for children and adults. I'm also working at the library as librarian assistant. Before I got my diploma in nursing I enjoyed a lot to take care of children during summer camps. Whether you are an adult or a child, I will enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and my knowledge of the French language.

Hello! My name is Anne Huang and I am originally from Brittany, France. I grew up in Rennes and went to "classes prepra" and Engineering school there. After I got my Master's in Agronomy and my DEA in 2000, I moved to the US to do my PhD in nutritional biochemistry at Cornell, Ithaca, NY. Upon graduation, I followed my Chinese-American husband to Boston and I now distribute my time taking care of our little boy, and giving French lessons... mostly just for fun!

Recipient of the State Diploma of Performing Arts among other acting awards, Guila Clara Kessous has acted, directed and produced performances in Paris, Avignon, New York and Boston. After completing an MBA in cultural business and a Master's degree in comparative dramatic literature, she focused her study on contemporary French literature, drama, and sacred texts under Professor T.J. Kline's mentorship at Boston University. She has taught at Boston University, Harvard University and at the French Library Alliance Française of Boston. Combining drama theory and practice, she has explored topics such as modern slavery (Director, "Hilda" by M. Ndiaye, sponsored by UNESCO); the meaning of "intellect" (Director, " Culture.com ," a tribute to J. Malkovich); and God's culpability (Director, "The Trial of God," and "Once upon a time" by E. Wiesel).

I've been tutoring in French and in philosophy many times during my studies and after. What I've enjoyed particularly is the atmosphere of sharing information, knowledge, curiosity.

Then I completed a Master's degree in Health Sciences (Maitrise sur la Pratique infirmiere en Sante Publique ). I arrived in Boston on September 2001 with my husband who works in Harvard Medical School. Now, I have three young children, so I am a "busy Mom" but during my free time….. Only few hours a week!!!! I enjoy teaching classes at the French Library.

Bonjour! My name is Fatim. I am originally from France, and I have also roots from Morocco. While attending engineering school, I tutored students in French, English, Maths and Physics. I really loved to be able to help people improve their skills and it was a beautiful experience to share my knowledge too. I worked 4 years as a project management engineer in the aeronautical and space field. I am now living in Boston and willing to share what I know about France and the French culture with all of you. Bonjour!I moved to Boston about a year ago. Born in Paris, I was raised in the south of France, then moved back to Paris after high school. I graduated from the Sorbonne with a License es lettres. In the United States, I did graduate work in French Literature at Columbia University in New York City, taught for a few years at SUNY Stony Brook, and as an interpretor for the U.S. State Department. I also taught for many years at the Alliance Francaise in New York. My interests include emulating the somehow anachronistic ideals of the "Honn�te homme" of the 17th century, which involves interests ranging from food and wine to art and literature.

Before we came in the USA, I have taught for the French Community of Belgium in elementary schools since 2000 and in the 4th grade for the last 3 years. Bonjour! My name is Chantal. I was born and raised in Paris where I completed a baccalaureate in Economics and Philosophy, as well as an MA in Law. From the age of sixteen, I have always been a private tutor. I worked at an international law firm in Paris, after which I moved to NYC. Married to an American in 1972, mother of five, I have always been teaching group and private classes for children, adolescents and adults, on and off, for in the 80's I moved to Strasbourg with my family where we founded and managed a desktop publishing company. I came back to Boston in 1998 and began teaching at the French Library a variety of French language courses as well as theme classes such as advanced grammar. I enjoy sharing my love and enthusiasm for the French language and culture with all the Francophiles in the USA.

Bonjour! My name is Nadia. I have lived in Boston since the end of 1999. I was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. After getting my Baccalauréat from a French high school, I graduated from a Toulouse university with a Master's Degree in business. I worked for several multinational companies where I was alternately in charge of marketing, communications and sales. In addition, I taught French language seminars, private classes for adults, as well as specific programs. I have been working at the French Library since March 2000, teaching both children and several adult classes from beginners to advanced levels (conversation, ...) as well as private lessons. I love Andalusian poetic music and North African cuisine.

Bonjour! my name is Lazhar and I am 32 years old. I was born in Algeria, and I was raised in Bordeaux, France since I was 3 years old. I graduated from the University of Bordeaux in both Industrial Electronics and Educational Science. I moved to the USA in 2002, first living in Los Angeles and then New York City. I love the outdoors, mountain-biking, snowboarding, and watching movies. Since I was little I have always enjoyed going to summer camps (les colonies de vacances). When I was too old for it, I decided to become a camp counselor (animateur) so I could take others to camp. I have always enjoyed the field of education and all of its aspects. Today I have the opportunity to share my experience, and as a teacher I look forward to sharing and learning about your experience.
